  • October 9, 2011 – Still working on the final details here but I can tell you I’ll be at  Hofstra University.
  • November 20, 2011. 2pm. Monmouth County Library –  125 Symmes Dr. Manalapan, NJ. Free Concert.

Some new stuff!

  • Starting the 21st of this month, I’ll be back at ABOVE in South Orange every Friday. 7:30-9:30pm.
  • Feb 12th: WORDS Bookstore in Maplewood. As part of an evening with author James Kaplan who has written a new book on Sinatra called The Voice. He’ll be doing a reading and talk. Pianist Matt King and myself will be filling in with two concerts at 7 and 9pm.
  • March 25th and 26th: The Knickerbocker Bar and Grill. NYC. 9:45pm-2am, with pianist Tomoko Ohno and bassist Noriko Ueda. It’s a girl thing!

Sad News…

It is with great sadness that I mourn the loss of one of the finest bass players I have worked with. Bob Bowen was killed last week while riding his bicycle in New York. It was a hit and run. In honor of him, I encourage you to watch the video of our “Good Morning America” performance a few years ago.  He is very present in this video and is so clearly enjoying himself. This is how I will remember him.
